Did I just shoot my most favorite session ever? Maybe.
Do I say that after every single session? Maybe...
But seriously, this engagement session with Shelby and Sarah has got to be one of my all time favorites!

I got to Echo Lake about an hour before our session to scout out the perfect spots and make sure everything was good to go and slightly panicked because it was WINDY. I don't mean a little gust here and there that makes for perfectly wind swept hair either, I mean the kind of wind feels like it might knock you over.
When Shelby and Sarah got the the lake, the wind had finally slowed down a bit *insert praise hands* and they were so on board to move forward even though it was absolutely freezing (the biggest troopers). We walked to the lake just in time to get some sun peaking out from behind the clouds and it was actually magical!

With the help of the sun warming us up we stayed on the lake for quite a bit and got some shots that capture Shelby and Sarah's love perfectly- not that that's hard to do with a couple so stinking' in love as these two! They were up for every single silly prompt I threw at them and laughed with each other through the whole session! Every time I adjusted my settings and looked back up they were doing some other cute think I had to stop and capture.

We decided to go for one more location before their fingers got too numb and found the most gorgeous snow covered path to finish out the day at. Once again, I hardly had to give these two any directions- just capturing the way they naturally interacted made for the most perfect pictures!

I am SO excited to be a part of Shelby and Sarah's wedding day, so stay tuned for more unbelievable cuteness come June!
